The purpose of this post is to entice you to come and visit us in sunny San Diego. Then you can have as much fun as we do hanging out at all of our favorite summer-time spots:
The Children's Beach in La Jolla is great. We love watching the seals that have taken over this part of the beach, but further down the beautiful coastal walkway is a also nice park, perfect for picnics, and several spots leading down to the water, including one place where we've spotted sea lions too.
We also enjoy exploring the tide pools at Cabrillo National Park:

Looks like fun--our kids would love to live by the beach! One of these days we'll make it for a visit when you're actually there. :)

Oh what fun. We love San Diego. I don't know when we will be coming that way again, but we will have to meet up when we do. You are so lucky to live where you get to go see those things all the time!
